Music Recommendations by Location

The bands and local curators that spawn from a place give insight to the shared experience of living there. At first glance every artist is so different, but over time patterns arise that point to a common ethos. I've picked my favorites and tried to keep it current.

Playlist note: every song relates to my travels in some way. We sang "Red Wine, Success!" together in the staff shack at Base Camp; I was mugged in New York to the headphone soundtrack of "Search:Party:Animal" (appropriate). Others are lyrically representative.
