This patch design is based on my photo of O’Neill Butte (see gallery) on South Kaibab Trail, which I took while living and working in the park for a couple seasons. Dogs are not allowed on this trail or anywhere below rim, to be fair, but they are allowed on the Rim Trail, and of course the Grand Canyon extends beyond the bounds of the national park. This patch design is based on my photo of Ross Lake, taken from the trail to Desolation Peak (see gallery). Dogs are allowed within Ross Lake National Recreation Area and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area (but not in other regions of North Cascades National Park – be sure to double check).

Snap this woven patch around your dog’s collar to commemorate their travels to Big Bend! Best for collars 1 inch wide and ~3 mm thick.
This patch design is based on a photo I took of Santa Elena Canyon in 2022 (see gallery). In light of the uncertain fate of Big Bend country, with destruction of our national park only temporarily put on pause, 50% of the proceeds from every purchase of this patch will be donated to No Big Bend Wall to support their efforts to protect our public lands and put a permanent end to the travesty taking place in West Texas.
More than 30 laws, including the Endangered Species Act, had to be waived so that bulldozers could begin work in the park. National Parks are supposed to be untouchable by this sort of development. YOUR public lands are set aside for preservation of wildlife, the ecosystem, and for future generations to come. If they can trample through places like Big Bend, Bears Ears, and Grand Staircase National Monument, they can destroy whichever national park is closest to your heart too.

Unlike all of my other patches, I did not feel like any of my own photos would be good enough as a reference for this artwork – my photos are from the summit, not of the mountain! This patch design is based on photos in the public domain, especially “Mount Elbert seen from Turquoise Lake” by author Hogs555 (included in gallery).
Most Detour Dog Collar Patches have our signature pawprint somewhere in the artwork. There was a misprint where several of the Mount Elbert patches do not have the pawprint. When ordering, please choose if you want the version with or without the pawprint.

Snap this woven patch around your dog’s collar to commemorate their travels to White Sands in New Mexico! Best for collars 1 inch wide and ~3 mm thick.
This patch design is based on photos I took of human footprints and doggy paw prints walking side-by-side in the gypsum dunes at White Sands (see gallery). Since the paw prints are already in the sand, this time I didn’t include my signature paw print next to the text.
The main variation of this patch has a baby-blue sky, but I do also have a limited run with a greyish-blue sky if you prefer a more stark look. Choose your preferred variation at check-out.

This patch design is based on a photo I took of a vintage car at the Grand Canyon Caverns & Inn Restaurant at Mile Marker 115 on Route 66 in Peach Springs, Arizona (see gallery).

If you went there, did you see a UFO?? This is one case where I did not have my own photo to base the patch design off of, unfortunately. I did reference public domain images of the road sign to get the Nevada State Route 375 symbol correct.

This patch design is based on a photo I took in Joshua Tree in 2019 (see gallery). It was a misty, gloomy, haunting sort of day, but I took the liberty of spicing up the sky with sunset colors for the patch.
