Snap this woven patch around your dog’s collar to commemorate their travels to Big Bend! Best for collars 1 inch wide and ~3 mm thick.
This patch design is based on a photo I took of Santa Elena Canyon in 2022 (see gallery). In light of the uncertain fate of Big Bend country, with destruction of our national park only temporarily put on pause, 50% of the proceeds from every purchase of this patch will be donated to No Big Bend Wall to support their efforts to protect our public lands and put a permanent end to the travesty taking place in West Texas.
More than 30 laws, including the Endangered Species Act, had to be waived so that bulldozers could begin work in the park. National Parks are supposed to be untouchable by this sort of development. YOUR public lands are set aside for preservation of wildlife, the ecosystem, and for future generations to come. If they can trample through places like Big Bend, Bears Ears, and Grand Staircase National Monument, they can destroy whichever national park is closest to your heart too.

| Return Policy | If something is broken when you receive your order, I would love the opportunity to send you a new patch to replace the defective one at no charge. Please email me a picture of the issue within 30 days of receiving your order, to info@thedetoureffect.com. If the patch is put through wear and tear and abuse and later develops an issue, in that case I cannot replace it or offer refunds. Please make sure you read the sizing requirements prior to purchase to make sure the patch will fit your collar. If you made a mistake and it doesn't fit, please email me so we can discuss options. For some patch designs, I do have limited inventory on hand that's slightly smaller or larger than the standard patch. Another option is that I can move the snaps further apart/closer together to create a tighter or looser fit. If none of these options work, I can refund the patch if you return it to me in perfect condition within 30 days so that I can resell. The refund will be processed after I receive it and assess the condition. The cost of return shipping is your responsibility. It should be very cheap if you buy non-machinable stamps and send it in a regular envelope. If you want tracking for your return shipment, that is sometimes more expensive than the cost of the patch itself – if you live in the USA and want tracking on your return, let me know and I will email you a special return label since I am able to get cheaper shipping rates. The cost of that label will be deducted from your refund (probably a deduction of $5-8 for USA shipments). I can't offer this for international. |
