A Hitchhiker's Guide To GETTING STRANDED.

This is not a wanderlust blog.

This is a wander-lost blog, full of duct-tape solutions, holes in soles, accidental trespassings, diversion tactics, loitering, alcoholic fishing boat workers, rivalries in the circus community, midnight ice lake plunges, immediate regret, fear of moose, but an even greater fear of missing it all. This doesn’t mean being reckless, it means assessing risk and preparing enough (but never over-planning) that you can trust yourself to be able to change things up on a dime.

I recommend getting stranded yourself, but if you'd rather not, maybe some of the things I've learned can help you in a bind.

Disclaimer: the most responsible course of action is to take none of my advice.
