GOOGLE MAPS TRAVEL ITINERARIES

These interactive Google Maps travel itineraries are shareable and you should be able to save them to your own Maps. If you have the Google Maps application on your phone, you can access them on the road.

When you click on a pin within a map, a window will pop up showing my pictures and/or my description of the location. Some maps may have additional layers that are currently hidden in default view. For instance, on the Kansas road trip itinerary, if you click the icon in the upper left corner you can checkmark the layers showing free campsites, buffalo viewing locations, etc.

I recently started creating a few maps on Wanderlog, as well. Click on the “Guides” tab. These can be exported to Google Maps.
